Desert Mountain, is a member-owned, master-planned 8,000-acre private community.  The development was originally developed by Taliesin Associated Architects, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright.  At an elevation of 3,000 feet, this North Scottsdale community borders the Tonto National Forest.  Homesites, custom homes, estates, and courtyard homes are tucked within separate villages.  All are designed by acclaimed architects offering buyers a variety of lifestyle options.

Golf

Desert Mountain is named among the top ten private clubs in the country featuring six championship Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, and the newly minted,  Seven at Desert Mountain, a championship par 54 course. The courses appeal to a broad range of players by offering varied terrain to challenge golfers of all ages and ability levels.  The Jim Flick Golf Performance Center is a $1.6 million dollar, 6,500 square foot facility.  It is outfitted with the most advanced technology available to improve golf fitness and performance.

Tennis

The club’s tennis facility won the “Court of the Year” award from Tennis Industry Magazine.  It also features the only stadium grass court in Arizona.  In addition it has five Har-Tru courts and three fast-playing hard surfaces.  Clinics, leagues, and special events provide players of all levels opportunities to enjoy this unique environment.

Fitness

The Sonoran Fitness and Spa at Desert Mountain is an expansive 42,000 square foot facility.  It offers fitness classes, state of the art equipment, personal training, and physical therapy.  It also features luxurious skin, body and relaxation treatments, and massages.  The swim and lap pools are heated year-round for member comfort and taking advantage of the Sonoran Desert’s unique climate.

More activities at Desert Mountain Club

Hiking and biking trails, volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a youth activity center, round out the recreational features.  Social events and activities are offered regularly, but when you want to gather in a more intimate setting, visit one of the seven dining venues.  When you’re ready for a change of pace, visit The Ranch.  A 33-acre site bordering the Tonto National Forest where luxury “glamping” meets the Wild West.
