McCormick Ranch, centrally located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a master-planned community consisting of 8,900 homes in 67 subdivisions across its 3,100 acres. The subdivisions host a variety of lifestyles including villas, townhomes, condos, water-front homes built around the seven man-made lakes, and luxury estates.
In addition access to the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, residents are treated to miles of walking and biking trails. Additionally, the seven man-made lakes provide an opportunity to fish and sail.

In 1967 Kaiser-Aetna purchased the McCormick Ranch property which had grown to a vast seven miles and has the honor of being the country’s largest piece of property sold for a master-planned community.
Amenities are abundant in McCormick Ranch. Two eighteen-hole golf courses, called the Palm and Pine courses, cater to enthusiasts including those more seasoned. The restaurant and lounge are open for breakfast and lunch and serve brunch on weekends. Food served is American with a Southwestern flare. There is also a bar which is open daily until 7PM.
The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park In 1967 was donated to the City of Scottsdale by the McCormick familly in 1967. The 30 acre park boasts train rides, a 1950 vintage carousel for riding, railroad building, nine ramadas available for reserving, 30 additional tables available for drop-in use, museums, shops, playground and play areas, restrooms, and concessions for purchase at the general store. The railroad park also hosts special events throughout the year including Holiday Lights, the annual holiday celebration held between late November and early January.
McCormick Ranch is served by the Scottsdale Unified School district. There are also several private schools from which to choose.
McCormick Ranch offers a relaxed, yet uncompromising lifestyle. Residents have many of Scottsdale’s activities all just minutes away, including upscale and fine dining restaurants, bars, casual and fast dining restaurants. Nearby local boutiques offer both men’s and women’s clothing, spas, salons, specialty and grocery stores. Just south of McCormick Ranch is Fashion Square, which recently underwent a major renovation, and is known for its diverse shopping experience and a variety of dining options.
Travel a few minutes north and find yourself strolling along the streets of Kierland and The Scottsdale Quarter, two of Scottsdale’s premiere outdoor shopping and dining destinations. Both of these locations offer a variety of events throughout the year including outdoor family movie nights and visits with Santa.
McCormick Ranch’s central location allows residents to quickly and easily reach many of the valley’s event venues such as casinos, sports complexes, concerts, the symphony, theaters and museums. Residents also appreciate the proximity to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport making business or pleasure travel convenient.
