About Desert Mountain
Desert Mountain is a member-owned master planed 8,000 acre private community originally developed by Taliesin Associated Architects, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright. At an elevation of approximately 3,000 feet, this North Scottsdale, Sonoran Desert community borders the Tonto National Forest. Desert Mountain has been named among the top ten private clubs in the country, featuring six championship, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, and the newest, a championship par 54 course known as Seven at Desert Mountain. The Sonoran Fitness and Spa at Desert Mountain is an expansive 42,000 square foot facility offering fitness classes, state of the art equipment, personal training, physical therapy, and of course, luxurious skin, body and relaxation treatments and massages. Swimming and lap pools are heated year-round for member enjoyment, taking advantage of the Sonoran Desert’s unique climate.
